Applications are invited from Bangladeshi qualified students for Higher Education (Bachelor, Masters and PhD) in Islamic Republic of Iran.
Subject: All Subjects except Medical Science and Pharmacy. Preferences more on Human Sciences, Islamic Studies, Persian Language and Literature, Iranology (Iran Studies).
- Medium of Study: Persian, 6 month Persian Language Course (1 term) is to be completed before starting the study of the degree.
- Students have applied earlier, need to apply again.
- Students, whose application was rejected earlier, need not to apply again.
- Applicants age limit: Bachelor: Below 20 Years, Masters: Below 25 Years; PhD: Below 30 Years.
- Qualification: Bachelor: HSC or equivalent having at least 80% marks.
- Masters: Bachelor Degree having at least 80% Marks
- PhD: Masters Degree having at least 80% Marks.
Necessities for Admission (Selected Students):
- Certificate and Mark sheets to be certified by the Embassy of I. R. Iran.
- Fill up the application form.
- Fill up the Education Visa form.
- Passport Photocopy and at least 6 months remaining of passport validity.
Scholarship (1) Type A: Free of Tuition fee, Hostel accommodation, Food including an amount of hand money.
(2) Type B: Free of Tuition fee, Hostel, Food
Process of Application
- Typed application before the Cultural Counsellor, Iran Cultural Centre, Dhaka
- A copy of resume with passport size photo.
- Academic transcripts (Certificate, mark sheets)
- Submit the above things in an enclosed envelope, writing on Education Section, Iran Cultural Centre
- Equivalence, evaluation & final selection will be done by Foreign Students Section, Education Ministry of Iran
- Selected students will get information through Iran Cultural Centre, Dhaka for further follow up.
