TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) condemned a drone attack on the home of the president of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region in Duhok, describing it as a terrorist act perpetrated by the aggressive enemies.
In a statement released on Saturday night, the IRGC condemned the drone attack on the residence of the president of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in Duhok as a terrorist act by the aggressive enemies, which it said has been echoed recently in the cowardly assassination of senior Iranian officials and innocent people in Iran by the American and Zionist terrorist armies.
These terrorist actions reflect the malicious attempts of warmongering adversaries to undermine peace, stability, and regional cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and neighboring countries, the IRGC warned.
Condemning this terrorist incursion, the IRGC expressed its readiness to support and defend the security of neighbors by strengthening security cooperation and establishing a collective defense shield including the regional countries and actors against the malevolence of the American army and the Zionist regime.
