TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that Iran’s enemies have resorted to a malicious plot by copying the Iranian Shahed drone and using it to attack unjust targets in the regional countries with the purpose of framing Iran and sowing discord.<\/h3>\n

In a statement released on Sunday, Ebrahim Zolfaqari cautioned all neighboring countries and the Muslim people in the region that \u201cthe enemy, which has been defeated in the battlefield and in forming political coalitions against Iran, has turned to deceit and has replicated the Iranian Shahed-136 drone, launching attacks on unjust targets in regional countries under the new name \u2018Lucas\u2019 drone.”<\/p>\n

\u201cThe enemy’s purpose is to cultivate distrust and direct accusations at the Islamic Republic of Iran and ultimately to create division between Iran and its neighboring countries, thereby undermining the legal and legitimate defensive actions of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran,\u201d the spokesman said.<\/p>\n

He then reminded the regional governments that the defensive doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on completely legal principles and has a strong logical foundation against the military aggressions of the United States and the Zionist regime.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly stated, it only attacks targets, centers, and interests of the United States and the Zionist regime, and any place it targets is officially declared, taking responsibility for the consequences,\u201d he underlined.<\/p>\n

The spokesman then cited examples of the \u201cmischievous attacks\u201d on centers in friendly neighboring countries such as Turkey, Kuwait, and Iraq, which have been falsely attributed to the Iranian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe wise reactions of the officials of these countries to such deceptive and malicious actions will nip this conspiracy in the bud, whereas falling for the tricks of the devil and divisive stances will encourage further expansion of such plots. Therefore, it is essential to trust one another and maintain unity and cooperation to make the invading foreign enemy regret its continued machinations,\u201d Zolfaqari stated.<\/p>\n

The US and the Zionist regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.<\/p>\n

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.<\/p>\n

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.<\/p>\n
