This striking convergence of landscapes \u2013 rigid yet breathtaking \u2013 offers a rare insight into the resilience and variety of southern Iran\u2019s environment and highlights the coastal region\u2019s immense potential for sustainable and nature-based tourism.<\/p>\n

Arid deserts<\/strong><\/p>\n

Large parts of Hormozgan\u2019s interior areas, along with several of its stunning islands, are characterized by arid, low-rainfall deserts. Expansive sand dunes, rocky plains, and open horizons form a stark yet visually compelling landscape.<\/p>\n

The profound silence, intense sunlight, and endless vistas make these deserts ideal for photography, stargazing, and adventure tourism.<\/p>\n
