A Sea of Loyalty: Iran’s Heart Beats in Unison for Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei

From the bustling Enqelab Square in Tehran to cities and towns across the nation, vibrant voices and colors echoed through the air, as citizens of all ages and backgrounds joined hands in a powerful affirmation of hope and resilience.

The countrywide gatherings were held at 3 pm local time for people to swear allegiance to the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

Various segments of the population from all walks of life, including students, clerics, Basij members, shopkeepers, market traders, officials from different levels, elites, scholars, and Friday prayer leaders, attended the nationwide event.

Participants at the event held Iranian flags, images of late Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, and also portraits of the new Leader of the Revolution.

Slogans such as “God’s hand over us; Khamenei is our Leader” resonated throughout the event.

Another part of the slogans expressed condemnation of the crimes committed by the United States and the Zionist regime during the 12-day war of June 2025, the riots of December 2025, and the ongoing military aggression that began on February 28.

The crowds of Iranian people shouted that they would not surrender in any way and that the enemy has again made a miscalculation, feeling the bitter taste of defeat.

Iran’s Assembly of Experts named Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new leader of the Islamic Revolution in the wee hours of March 9.

Following the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who had led Iran for 37 years since the 1989 demise of Imam Khomeini, the Assembly of Experts elected Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
