Thousands of Americans Take to Streets to Protest War against Iran

Thousands have held national-wide demonstrations in several US cities against the possibility of waging a war against Iran.
In the last few days, people across North American cities have participated in demonstrations to sound their voice against the US interfering with the Zionist regime’s war with Iran.

A group of protesters rallied in front of the White House and criticized the militant policies of US President Donald Trump’s administration. According to the New York Times, people also took to the streets in San Jose, California on Tuesday to protest against the involvement of the US military in the war.

The protesters held anti-war placards in their hands and were shouting slogans against warmongering policies by the US administration. A member of the San Jose peace and justice organization, which held the demonstration, called for the federal government to allocate the federal budget on social security rather than military spending.

Hundreds also demonstrated in the city of Milwaukee against war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Protesters were heard shouting slogans such as “do not intervene in Iran’s affairs” and called on the US government not to get themselves engaged in the Zionist regime’s aggressive war against Iran.

They also called for a ban on the sale of weapons to the Zionist regime.

At the same time, New York City also witnessed holding a solidarity gathering with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The protesters were holding placards that reads “The Government of the Apartheid should not exist,” referring to racist regime of Israel. Some also included placards with the burned flag of the Zionist regime. /T.N/
